The home is the cornerstone of any family’s independence. It provides sanctuary and protection. A permanent, robust dwelling helps a family integrate into the wider community, work towards a better future, and be more resilient against any calamities that may befall them.

However, despite the fundamental need for housing, millions of people live in uninhabitable dwellings, and even under open skies, because they have no income. Orphaned families and single mothers are among the most vulnerable to housing poverty, as they often lack a stable income.

  • If you have fully funded the construction of a house, a report will be sent (via email unless otherwise indicated) upon completion, inshaAllah. Typically, this will be within 12 months.
  • If you wish to fully fund a house through instalments, please note that full payment must be donated within one year – the final donation must be received within 12 months of the first instalment. Construction will begin following the final instalment.
