Afghanistan has suffered forty years of terrible hardship. Families here have known nothing but poverty and war. And, sadly, they’ve known even less of Muslims from afar coming to their assistance.

Orphaned children remain the poorest demographic in the country’s sea of poverty. Many must work or beg from the age of 5 to survive. Only a fortunate few learn basic literacy. And even less learn to a higher degree.

Ummah Welfare Trust wants to write a new chapter for these children. The charity plans to build a new educational complex for 1,200 orphaned children.

Mirroring the charity’s flagship Ummah Children’s Academy in Pakistan, the centre will offer orphans the best Islamic and contemporary education that Afghanistan can offer, inshaAllah.

Masjid

A large purpose-built masjid that

Classroom Building

The class room building will have 38 classroom and 30 supplementary rooms for teaching.

Two-Storey Hostel

The hostel will have 68 rooms that will house 1,200 students. There will also be 90 bathrooms in the building.

This will be a two-storey building.
Kitchen and storage will be together. Afghanistan is today at peace but needs elite institutions to nurture its upcoming generation of Muslims. This new orphanage will be one of them inshaAllah. To construct this building entirely will cost over £2 million pounds. In truth, a small amount if we come together for it.
